CBDC

Anyone who understands historic Technocracy from the 1930s would immediately recognize "currency that expires" as a key element of a Technocrat-run economy. CBDCs extend the concept to include programmable features that force holders to spend according to a socially engineered dictate. This smacks of Technocracy, not socialism, communism or fascism.

Unfortunately, Central Bank Technocrats could care less what people think and will proceed with creating CBDCs as fast as they can. What could potentially throw a monkey wrench into their plan is to hold and use cash instead of plastic. Secondly, tell everyone you give cash to WHY you are doing so, and encourage them to do the same.

There is no doubt that Central Bank Digital Currencies are in our future, but much of the initial alarmist reporting missed many important details and events associated with global development of CBDCs. The world has been warned over and over again about the dangers of technological capture, but it has not slowed the pace of adoption.
