When I wrote in 2023, Warning: Reality Is Escaping Out The Back Door, I knew that stories like this would appear. "ChatGPT psychosis" is not a formal psychiatric diagnosis yet, but it is already described in academic literature, and the cases are streaming in. Many are tragic. All are sad. Others will follow. OpenAI and other will disavow all responsibility.
